MACE Brisbane

What We Do

Our work combines positive mentoring, public advocacy and community action. Every activity should have one clear purpose: helping young people feel supported and building safer communities around them.

01

Mentoring & encouragement

Age-appropriate encouragement and positive role modelling delivered with proper consent, boundaries and child-safe practices.

02

Community presence

Public rides and community appearances that create awareness, connection and a visible stand against child abuse and bullying.

03

Rides & fundraising

Events that bring people together, grow support and raise funds for approved group activities or community priorities.

04

Advocacy & awareness

Practical conversations that encourage adults to notice warning signs, take concerns seriously and use official help pathways.

How support begins

  1. A parent, guardian, service or community contact makes an appropriate enquiry.
  2. The group considers whether the request fits MACE’s role and safeguarding requirements.
  3. Any involvement is planned with consent, privacy and the young person’s wellbeing at the centre.
  4. Concerns requiring statutory, emergency or professional help are directed to the proper service.

MACE is not an emergency service

If a child is in immediate danger, call Triple Zero (000). For official Queensland reporting contacts and confidential support, visit our Get Help page.
