MACE Brisbane

About Us

MACE Brisbane is the Brisbane chapter of Motorcyclists Advocating Child Empowerment: a community of riders and supporters committed to helping young people feel safer, stronger and less alone.

Why we exist

Children affected by abuse, neglect or bullying can feel invisible and powerless. MACE exists to counter that isolation with visible support, positive adult role models and a wider community prepared to stand beside them.

Courage

We speak up when silence protects harm, and we encourage young people to recognise their own strength.

Respect

We listen without judgement and treat every child, family, volunteer and partner with dignity.

Accountability

Child safety, appropriate boundaries and responsible conduct must guide every activity involving MACE.

The role of the motorcycling community

A group of riders arriving together creates a powerful message: you matter, people believe you, and you do not have to face difficult experiences alone. The motorcycle is a symbol of that solidarity; the lasting impact comes from safe, consistent and respectful human connection.

Our responsibility

MACE Brisbane does not replace police, Child Safety, counselling, legal services or emergency care. Activities involving children must use appropriate safeguarding, screening, consent and referral processes.
